Contact Alumni Association in Baton Rouge

We are looking for people to get more involved in helping to improve and grow our Chapter.  It is very rewarding work!  Let’s not forget how thrilling it was to be able to send $38,000 to Katrina Relief in South Florida.  Or the fact that we now  support a Chancellor’s Alumni Leadership Scholarship and are building funds for more.  But this takes a lot of hard work and we have over 2,000 alumni in the Miami area alone.  Everyone has their area of interest – some are interested in LSU sports, some are more interested in the academic side of LSU – but what we all agree on is that we ALL care about LSU and want to help in making sure that it continues to be one of the finest all-around universities in the country.  I am hoping that we can build our active membership over the next years and continue to be that support.

Also, I would be remiss if I did not point out to you that we are one of the few Chapters in the country who do not have Chapter dues.  In light of that, I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider joining the National LSU Alumni Association.  The membership there is invaluable.  The LSU Alumni are great sponsors of our university and they need our support now more than ever before due to the economic conditions in our country.  Please visit www.lsualumni.org and join.  One of the great rewards for joining is that you will receive the quarterly LSU Alumni Magazine with all the latest news on events that our organization is involved in and see what alumni organizations are doing all over the country.
